Kieran Walsh
LLBKieran’s practice is focused on commercial disputes and agreements, and he has provided advice on a wide range of matters, including:
- advising and acting for home owners regarding their rights under a home building contract, including (but not limited to) delays, price increases, and variations
- advising strata companies and strata managers regarding Strata Titles Act 1985 (WA) compliance, and scheme disputes
- drafting wills and providing advice to executors regarding probate and estate management
- drafting shareholder agreements for a wide range of entities, including building companies and legal practices;
- advising landlords and tenants of correct procedure, and their rights that arise under the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 (WA)
- day to day conduct of complex shareholder oppression appeal, being heard in the Court of Appeal
- advising clients regarding prosecutions brought under the Planning and Development Act 2005 (WA)
- advising employers and employees regarding unfair dismissal claims
- general litigation and day to day file management
Kieran graduated from Murdoch University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Laws.
Prior to joining Douglas Cheveralls Lawyers in January 2022, Kieran practised as a lawyer in British Columbia, Canada, specialising in insurance law.
