Jonathan joined Douglas Cheveralls Lawyers as a Director in May 2017.   He practices predominantly in commercial law, and drafts and reviews all types of legal agreements.  He also practices in commercial litigation, estate planning, liquor licensing and migration law.

Jonathan has practised previously as Principal and Director of Crabtree Legal, a firm that he founded in early 2015.  Prior to this, Jonathan worked as a solicitor in the Human and Civil Rights Unit at the Aboriginal Legal Service of Western Australia, and as a solicitor in the Major Litigation and Liquor Licensing teams at Lavan Legal – the firm at which he completed his articles.

Jonathan is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia, and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.  He is also a registered migration agent, and is passionate about ensuring access to justice for those individuals in genuine need of legal assistance.

Jonathan’s interests outside of work include his family, Ruby Union, history and travel.
